Abstract

Mit der Neubeschaffung von Fahrzeugen bei der Berliner Straßenbahn ab dem Jahr 2008 wird eine neue Lösung für den barrierefreier Zugang für Rollstuhlfahrer Einzug halten. Als technisches Hilfsmittel für den Zugang von Rollstuhlfahrern ohne direkte Hilfe an den unterschiedlichen Haltestellensituationen in Berlin werden nicht mehr Hublifte eingesetzt, sondern eine von der Firma Schließ- und Sicherungssysteme (S&S) Mühlhausen und den Berliner Verkehrsbetrieben (BVG) entwickelte mechanische Klapprampe als Kassettenlösung. difuFrom 2008, with the procurement of new tram cars, Berlin will offer a new solution for barrier-free access for handicapped persons.
