Abstract
In den 1990er Jahren wurden in Frankfurt/Main Programme zur ÖPNV-Beschleunigung umgesetzt. Der Schwerpunkt lag auf Vorrangschaltungen an LSA-Anlagen. Der Straßenbahn- und Busverkehr ist jedoch heute durch eine unterdurchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit gekennzeichnet. Um dieser Entwicklung entgegensteuern zu können, hat die städtische Nahverkehrsgesellschaft traffiQ Ende 2012 das Projekt ÖPNV-Infrastruktur aufgelegt. Hier sollen konsensfähige Arbeitsgrundlagen für eine ganzheitliche Gestaltung der ÖPNV-Infrastruktur zur wirksamen Beschleunigung erarbeitet werden.
In the 1990s, programs to speed up the public passenger transport in Frankfurt/Main were implemented. The main focus was on priority circuits for light signals. Nowadays, however, tramway traffic and bus traffic are characterized by speed below average. So, at the end of 2012 the local public transport company traffiQ has initiated the project ÖPNV-Infrastruktur in order to operate effectively against this development. Within this project an operating bases as a consensus for the integrated design of the public passenger infrastructure and hence leading to an effective acceleration is to be worked for.
