Parkdauerüberwachung und Zahlung von Gebühren: alternative Systeme. Chancen und Risiken innovativer Techniken der Parkraumbewirtschaftung im öffentlichen Raum.

Abstract

Alternative Systeme werden im Ausland schon seit einigen Jahren zur Zahlung der Parkgebühren und zur Überwachung der Parkdauer im öffentlichen Straßenraum eingesetzt. Ein Forschungsprojekt des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau- und Wohnungswesen hat eine Einführung dieser Systeme auch in Deutschland vorbereitet. difuIn recent years, new methods and systems have been devised to simplify car parking management along public roads. There - uncertainty in Germany as to the adoption of these systems because of the limited experience with regard to their suitability and extent of their usage. In 2001, the concerned federal ministry launched a research project to detail the alternative methods and systems available for controlling the time spent on car parking and payment of fees. The possibilities for implementing, and the extent of using, these new methods / systems have been analyzed and evaluated. Their legal framework has been recorded as has the readiness to make use of such systems. difu
