Abstract

Die VDV-Kernapplikation (VDV-KA) ist der einzige in Deutschland anerkannte Standard für elektronisches Ticketing. Über die Einhaltung der Spezifikationen wacht die VDV eTicket Service GmbH. Sie zertifiziert Geräte und Software und stellt damit sicher, dass die eTicketing-Produkte verschiedener Hersteller alle denkbaren Alltagssituationen beherrschen und eTickets unternehmensübergreifend genutzt werden können. Zusätzlich ermöglicht es das PKM-Datenformat, Sondertickets schnell auszurollen. Die VDV-KA unterstützt zudem Mobile Ticketing per App im Smartphone.
