Abstract

Viele Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in Verkehrsunternehmen haben einiges mehr zu bieten als ?nur? die formalen Qualifikationen für ihre konkrete Tätigkeit. Mit einer Kompetenzerfassung und -entwicklung, wie sie im ProVes-Projekt erarbeitet wird, können auch überfachliche Kompetenzen erkannt und gezielt gefördert werden. Zentrales Erfolgselement ist die umfassende Kommunikation und frühzeitige Einbindung aller betrieblichen Akteure.Many employees in public transport companies have much more competences than just the professional skills needed for their concrete task. By competence assessment and development, like worked out in the project ProVes, it is possible to discover and to promote interdisciplinary skills, e.g. customer orientation. Comprehensive communication and involvement of all actors in the company at an early stage are crucial factors of success.
