EU setzt Standards für Stadtbahnen. Harmonisierungsprojekt Libertin vor dem Abschluss - Ergebnisse aus zehn Arbeitsgruppen im Überblick.

Abstract

Libertin ist ein Thematisches Netzwerk (TN), das im Zuge des fünften Rahmenprogrammes für Forschung und Entwicklung (Growth Programme) von der Europäischen Kommission gefördert wird. Libertin beschäftigt sich mit der Harmonisierung und Standardisierung auf Europäischer Ebene im Straßen- und Stadtbahnbereich. Partner in Libertin sind die UITP und die UNIFE gemeinsam mit fünf großen Beratungsunternehmen mit dem Schwerpunkt Stadtbahnsysteme: TTK, Atkins Danmark, AEA Technology, Die Ingenieurwerkstatt und Semaly. Koordinator des Projektes ist TTK, Karlsruhe. In einem Thematischen Netzwerk ist die Mitarbeit von Experten integraler Bestandteil, um einen möglichst großen Konsens zu gewährleisten. difuLibeRTiN is the Light Rail Thematic Network (TN) on standardization and harmonisation of LRT funded by the European Commission under the 5th Framework Programme for Research and Development (Growth Programme). Partners of the LibeRTiN TN are the two major business associations representing mass transit operators and authorities (UITP) and the railway supply Industry (UNIFE) together with five major consulting companies specialised in the light rail domain (TTK, Atkins, AEA Technology, Die Ingenieurwerkstatt, SEMALY). But the active participation of external experts is an integral part of this thematic network to reach consensus as far as possible in the 10 different working groups. difu
