Abstract
In order to make the high automatized driving safe for the future, a uniform transnational standard for the type and vehicle test is required. Basis for the development of the regulations is the Vienna Convention of Road Traffic concluded in 1968, the Road Transport Law as well as the conditions of the Ethic committee. Up to now, it was sufficient to consider these vehicle components individually for the type testing. However, the high-automatized driving requires the consideration of these components, beginning from level 3, in interaction i. e. horizontally. At the moment, employees of the Institute for Vehicle Technology and Mobility of TÜV Nord are editing the about 130 ECE regulations. The aim is to create an overall regulatory ECE R0 for the consideration of the complete vehicle.
