Abstract

Die Energiewende ist eines der zentralen politischen Themen unserer Zeit. Die Art und Weise, wie Energie produziert wird, sagt viel über eine Gesellschaft aus. Abhängig davon, welcher Aspekt des Themas Energiepolitik besonders betont wird - Nachhaltigkeit, Versorgungssicherheit oder Wirtschaftlichkeit - sind sehr unterschiedliche Bewertungen und Schlussfolgerungen möglich. Der Band liefert Orientierung zum Streitthema Energiewende, indem er die nationale und internationale Debatte in multidimensionaler Perspektive kompakt analysiert.The contribution describes the "Energiewende" as nucleus of a fundamental transformation of our future economies that will have to manage raw materials and resources far more intelligently and efficiently than we have done in the past. Furthermore, it provides an overview of different dimensions of the "Energiewende": the ecological, the economic, the technological, the political and the social dimension. In addition, it outlines the most important measures that will make the "Energiewende" a success.
