Auf dem Weg zu mehr Mobilität. Grundidee, Konzeption und Status Quo des City-Tickets.

Abstract

Mit dem City-Ticket wurde ein neuartiges Angebot eingeführt, das den Schienenpersonenfernverkehr der Deutschen Bahn AG mit dem städtischen öffentlichen Personennahverkehr (ÖPNV) verknüpft. Inzwischen gilt das City-Ticket in 67 Städten. Was von außen betrachtet wie eine scheinbar einfach zu realisierende Kombiticket-Lösung aussieht, ist ein Wahrheit ein Produkt langjähriger, sorgfältiger Vorbereitungen und Diskussionen. Der Beitrag erläutert Grundidee, Rahmenbedingungen, Konzeption und Herausforderungen dieses Angebotes und stellt den Status quo anderthalb Jahre nach der Einführung dar. difuWith the introduction of the City-Ticket, an innovation has been made to connect the long-distance passenger transit by rail by the Deutsche Bahn AG and the local urban passenger transit (ÖPNV). At the moment, the City-Ticket is valid for 67 cities. It apparantly seems to be a simple combination ticket, a project which was easy to be realized, but many years of careful preparation and discussions have passed. The article gives some information about the idea, the basic conditions, the conception and the challenges of this solution as well as the status quo after one and a half year of being introduced. difu
