Bürgerbus: bewährt und beliebt. Ein Beitrag zur Mobilität im Landkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf.

Abstract

Die Untersuchung der fünf Bürgerbus-Angebote im Landkreis Marburg-Biedenkopf zeigt, dass Bürgerbusse gut geeignet sind, das örtliche Mobilitätsangebot zu ergänzen. Sie sprechen Mobilitätsbedürfnisse an, die vom ÖPNV nicht voll befriedigt werden können. Erfolgsfaktoren sind das Engagement der Kommunen sowie die aktive Unterstützung durch die Aufgabenträgerorganisation des Landkreises. Neben der Mobilitäts-Daseinsvorsorge kommt Bürgerbussen auch eine wichtige Funktion als sozialer Treffpunkt zu. Aufgrund der positiven Erfahrungen mit Bürgerbussen hat das Land Hessen diesbezüglich ein umfangreiches Förderprogramm aufgelegt.The survey of the five citizen s offers in Marburg-Biedenkopf shows that citizens' buses are suitable to supplement the local offerings for mobility.
