Der kvgOF Hopper bringt ÖPNV zu den Kunden. Ein ‚bus-on-demand‘ als Erfolgsmodell für den Kreis Offenbach.

Abstract

Im Sommer 2019 startete in drei Kommunen des Kreises Offenbach als neuer Bestandteil des ÖPNV das erste Bus-on-Demand-System im Rhein-Main-Gebiet unter dem Namen „Hopper“. Im Spätherbst 2019 wurde eine erste Erhebung durchgeführt, die zeigte, dass das Angebot auf eine hohe Zufriedenheit stößt und insbesondere bei jungen Menschen gut ankommt. Es wird das Ziel der kvgOF bleiben, mit weiteren Optimierungen noch mehr Fahrgäste für den Hopper zu gewinnen.The first bus-on-demand-system in the Rhine-Main-area named “Hopper” commenced operations in summer 2019 in three communities in the district of Offenbach as a new addition of the existing public transport. A first evaluation was carried out in autumn 2019 and indicated high satisfaction ratings, especially amongst young people. It will remain an aim of the kvgOF to attract more users through further optimization.
