Abstract

Im Projektbaustein 1 des Forschungsvorhabens “Implementierung von Flächensparinstrumenten“ wurde der Prototyp einer bundesweiten Informations- und Kommunikationsplattform für das Flächensparen weiterentwickelt und erprobt (www.aktion-flaeche.de). Damit wurden neue Erkenntnisse zur Informationsvermittlung und Bewusstseinsbildung zum Thema Flächensparen gewonnen, die für eine etwaige Verstetigung eines bundesweiten Informationsangebots zum Thema Flächensparen von Bedeutung sind.The 30 ha land take target established for 2020 presents stakeholders involved in land use at federal, state, regional, city and municipal levels with the challenge of developing and practically implementing a consistent land-saving strategy for settlement development. There are numerous existing and possi-ble new tools within this context which can enable relevant land-saving courses of action. Over the course of the research project funded by the German Environment Agency (Umweltbun-desamt – UBA) “Implementing land-saving tools”, the prototype for a nationwide information and communication platform for saving land was developed (www.aktion-flaeche.de) and trialled during project component 1 - focus of that report -. This resulted in new findings regarding information trans-fer and raising awareness of saving land which are important for the possible continuation of a na-tionwide information service relating to saving land.
