Abstract
Nach der Regionalisierung des SPNV standen relativ bald Regionaltriebwagen aller führenden Fahrzeughersteller zur Verfügung. Aufgrund der spezifischen Anforderungen an die Fahrzeuge entstanden innerhalb der Bauartfamilien verschieden ausgestattete Fahrzeuge, teilweise in kleinen Serien. Sowohl die BAG-SPNV als auch die Fahrzeugindustrie haben bereits vor einiger Zeit Kostensenkungspotenziale bei der Standardisierung einzelner Anforderungen an die Fahrzeuge erkannt. Die BAG-SPNV hat hierzu 2006 Empfehlungen an ihre Mitglieder herausgegeben. Die Bahnindustrie und die BAG-SPNV sind im Gespräch darüber, durch die Standardisierung einzelner Komponenten weitere Kostensenkungseffekte zu realisieren.
Soon upon the regionalization process of the local rail transit, there were regional rail cars of all leading vehicle manufacturers available. Due to the specific vehicle requirements, rail cars with different equipment emerged within the various construction types, however, sometimes in small production runs. Some time ago, both, the federal association of the local rail transit (BAG-SPNV) and the rail car industry have realized some cost reduction potentials in standardizing several requirements of the vehicles. To this the BAG-SPNV has published some recommendations to their members in 2006. Both, the rail industry and the BAG-SPNV are in discussion to realize further cost reduction effects by the standardization of some individual components.
