Leipzig mobil: Die Mobilitätslösung für eine wachsende Stadt. Die Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe als gestaltender Mobilitätsdienstleister.

In diesem Projekt wurde bis August 2015 ein multimodales Angebot in Form der Verknüpfung von ÖPNV mit Car- und Bikesharing im Rahmen einer Mobilitätsplattform technisch umgesetzt. Zudem wurden die Leipzig mobil-Apps, Web-App und Mobilitätsstationen entwickelt und realisiert. Bis Ende 2016 wurde die App bereits mehr als 20.000 Mal heruntergeladen. 'Leipzig mobil' wird seit Januar 2017 im Rahmen des Förderprojektes INTER-mobil weiterentwickelt mit drei zentralen Zielstellungen: Einbindung weiterer Verkehrsangebote, Übertragbarkeit auf andere Regionen und prototypische Entwicklung intermodaler Produkte auf Basis konkreter Nutzungsszenarien.The change process of Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe from a transit operator to an integrated mobility provider was initiated when the project 'Leipzig mobil', funded by the ERDF kicked off in 2013.
